Personal Comments

Bought my first ML book as a pre-adolescent in the late 1950's. A horror movie fan, I remember being having bused "down town" and examining copies of Frankenstein and Dracula at one of the three department stores in Allentown. Weighing my allowance in one hand and Dracula in the other, I decided in favor of the book. Read it that summer. In 1999 at the closing of an Encore books, I noticed a few books with a familiar logo. I bought a few, made the connection with my old copy of Dracula, which I still owned, and forty years after my first ML purchase, bought my second and started collecting. I also collect Everyman's Library.
