DJ Back Style h Variations
At least six versions of this style gave been reported. Quite a few jackets exist with a sticker on the front jacket flap covering the price with the following text: "As of April 15, 1947, the price of The Modern Library in U.S.A. is $1.25 a copy Other markings void. The Modern Library, Inc."
Keep in mind that jacket styles often appear much later than their "in print" dates—ML wanted to use up old stock, and sometimes they failed to update jacket data. Date overlaps can exist. Mid-season subtype changes were the norm.
