Changing Prices on the Fly

During the life of the very early DJ styles, Boni-Liveright had occasion to raise prices. Prices during that period were printed in the red band near the bottom of the spine. In some cases rather than reprinting the entire dust jacket to accomdate the new price, Boni-Liveright overprinted the price using a variety of methods. Here are some of them.

Price Cross-out Overprint
