Notes on Twentieth Century American Poetry

This title was a revision of the earlier Modern American Poets and Modern American Poetry.

In mid-1963, a further revision was published in a #9 binding. This revision has a spring 1963 list on the dust jacket (415 titles) and a Spring Giants list in the back-of-book catalog (G87 Medieval Epics but not G88 O'Hara, 49 Stories). Further, Bill Hornick reports that his 1964 copy of 127.4 with the #11 binding has a a biographical note for Aiken not seen in previous printings.

Amazing for Aiken ML anthologies, the book and DJ titles matched.
