Notes on Caldwell's God's Little Acre

At least two versions of this title exist. Issues between 1934 and 1957 have a foreword by the author and an appendix. Starting in Spring 1957, both the appendix and the foreword were removed.

The appendix discussed a court case against the original publisher, Viking Press, in May of 1933 claiming that the book was pornographic. The case was dismissed.
