Notes on Lao-Tzu's Te-Tao Ching

Contains notes and commentary by the translator, along with translator biography. Also contains bibliography. This edition differs from Wisdom of Laotse (262.1 in the Modern Library) in that it is only the writings of Lao-Tzu, without the inclusion of passages from the Zhuangzi to illustrate and expand on Lao-Tzu's ideas.
